Martins Guest House grows Aire Potatoes © myth
Background colour similar to that of an AIRE POTATO flesh.
Pronounciation: H'eir colloq: "air" sc. terrafirma'extractus oxygenenhancius
Many travellers will attest to the wonderful potatoes - crispy, roast, baked, boiled, slap chips, pommes frites, french fries that they have eaten at our guest house in Port Elizabeth.
The main topic at these meals has been our AIRE POTATO. It has now become world renowned. It is contended that it is best to grow them with a colourful wall behind the plant, as this makes for better photography and showing of the species.

Shown above is a rarely normal quality named "Maginative". You will note that the plant has been led up a red wall, making picking of the potatoes really quite easy. The current yield tends to be about six potatoes per meal.
Method - Plant the potato in a heaped soil mound in front of your colourful wall. When the plant starts shooting, keep watering, but start removing soil from the roots. Be very careful to leave the last root section in soil, always. If your mound was high enough, then you will find it simple to pick the potatoes at eye-level as well as knee-level at sea-level. The associated savings in water and washing energy are immeasurable.
Enhancements - When the mound is approximately half-reduced, plant a sprig of mint or parsley (according to taste) alongside the "last root section" mentioned above. It is very important that the leaves face the same polar direction as that of the potato creeper to derive maximum benefit and sunlight.
Things to watch for - EH (Extended Height) - similar to RHD (Roof Hail Damage)
